The Pastor is On Vacation
With summer into full swing, it is time for the Goodman’s to take some vacation time. This year, we are taking a family vacation to the Orlando area. We will be spending a week at the Orange Lake Country Club and Resort. If you have never been there, it is well worth the effort to go. During the week, the boys will be attending day camp at Sea World. From Monday through Friday, they will be at SeaWorld from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.. I suspect that they will be tired when they get back to the condo.
We will be leaving on Thursday July the 12th and returning on Saturday July 21st. That means that I will be out of the pulpit on Sunday July 14th. Preaching in my place will be the Reverend Jay Vanreenen, an ordained elder in the West Virginia Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church. I hope that you will give him a warm Virginia Avenue welcome.
