Help Us Greet Parents and Students
We have a terrific opportunity due to the location of our church. With Dudley Primary School just behind us, there are a couple of times each year that we have a lot of foot traffic near the church. One such time is just a few weeks away. On Tuesday August 21, 2007 beginning at 6:00 p.m., there will be a lot of parents and children going to the school to see classrooms and meet new teachers.
We are going to take advantage of this opportunity by handing out flyers that advertise upcoming events, activities, and ministries at the church. We need your help in order to make this possible. We are looking for people to work 30 minute shifts on the corner at the top of the hill. We will begin just before 6:00 p.m. and end by 7:30 p.m. The only skill needed is a warm friendly smile and the ability to introduce yourself to someone and ask them if they would like to learn about what is happening at the church. Please contact the office if you are interested or sign up in the volunteer roster at the church.
